Dr. Biberdorf is a practicing developmental optometrist, a grant-funded Vision Scientist and a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, an international non-profit association of eye-care professionals that provides board certification for eye doctors and vision therapists offering state-of-the-art services in: behavioral and developmental vision care, vision therapy, and visual rehabilitation. Dr. Biberdorf is the Principal Investigator on PEDIG -funded UND-based studies.
Dr. Poltavski is a psychophysiologist with specialization in visual neuroscience. He is a Professor of Psychology at the University of North Dakota. In his research Dr. Poltavski has utilized various electrophysiological methods of evaluation of the visual system while investigating an array of topics in relation to visual perception, higher cognitive functions, athletic performance and mTBI (concussion). He serves as the research site Coordinator on PEDIG -funded UND-based studies.
Carolina Praus Poltavski is the Center's Optometric Vision Therapist and Sports Vision Trainer. Since 2010 Mrs. Praus Poltavski has been an active member of the Vision Therapy section of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) and has completed a number of COVD-sponsored therapy modules. She currently serves as a protocol-specific clinical site coordinator on PEDIG-funded UND-based studies.
